Editorial Policy

The editorial guidelines presented in the ninth edition of The CSE Manual will remain consistent throughout the life of the edition and in all formats in which the content is published. Occasionally, however, a typographical correction or other minor clarification is needed; such errors will be corrected online as soon as possible after they are identified and will also be corrected in any subsequent impressions of the printed book. Similarly, certain editorial policy updates may be identified between editions; such updates, if deemed necessary and feasible by the CSE Editorial Policy Committee, will also be made online and in any subsequent impressions of the printed book.

Notable corrections, clarifications, and updates are posted to the Updates to The CSE Manual page as they are implemented.
